California EV charger rebates by utility
Your electric utility decides more of your charger funding than any other single factor. In 2026 the big investor-owned utility programs (SCE Charge Ready, PG&E EV Charge 2 and EV Fleet, SDG&E Power Your Drive for apartments and workplaces) are closed, so each guide below shows what is still open in that territory and what replaced the closed program.

Not sure which utility serves your site?
Check the electric bill for the meter, or enter the site ZIP in the rebate finder. Many cities run their own municipal utility (Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Anaheim, Riverside, Roseville, Palo Alto, Alameda and others), and most Northern California businesses buy power from a community choice aggregator while PG&E delivers it. The region guides cover those cases.
