About EVgpo and the EV Rebate Finder
EVgpo is a California cooperative purchasing group for commercial EV chargers. We maintain this free rebate database as a public resource for developers, fleets, and property owners scoping projects across the state.
What EVgpo does
We pool buying volume across California commercial customers — multifamily developers, fleet operators, real-estate owners, public agencies — and use that combined volume to negotiate pricing on EV chargers from the major manufacturers. ChargePoint, Blink, Siemens, ABB, Wallbox, and most other commercial brands. Members typically buy at 20–40% below MSRP.
We are not a reseller in the traditional sense. We don't carry margin per deal. The cooperative purchasing model means pricing is set against group volume, not per-customer markup. That changes the economics in a way that's hard to replicate transactionally.
What EVgpo does NOT do
We are clear about the boundaries of our service so you can plan accordingly:
- We don't install. Equipment ships to your installer of choice, or we can refer to electrical contractors we've worked with in your region.
- We don't file rebate applications. The database below is a free industry resource. Application filing is between you and the granting agency.
- We don't cover vehicle rebates. If you're searching for EV vehicle incentives instead of charging infrastructure, see our explainer on the vehicle vs charger split.
- We don't act as your tax advisor or grants consultant. This is an orientation tool, not a compliance service.
Why the rebate database is free
Two reasons. First, the data exists in fragments across 35 air districts, dozens of utilities and CCAs, more than 80 cities and counties, and a layer of state and federal programs. Aggregating it once is a public good — and the work is the same whether one developer reads it or a thousand do.
Second, our business is selling chargers, not selling rebate intel. Customers who use this database to assemble their funding stack are exactly the customers we want sourcing equipment with us. The lead-generation alignment is built in.
Verification methodology
Every program in the database is verified directly against the administering agency. Each entry shows its individual verification date — typically refreshed monthly with weekly automated polls for federal NOFO announcements. Programs flagged "Verify Before Applying" had a recent status change that requires direct agency confirmation. Programs that have closed or sunset are excluded from the live list and noted in the Notable Closures section.
For full detail on how we verify, see the methodology page.
The team
Hammad and Samy cofounded EVgpo to bring cooperative purchasing economics to commercial EV charger procurement in California. They have been working with developers, fleet operators, and property owners across PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, and California's municipal utility territories.
